Website Services Terms
These terms cover our £199 website build, optional extras, and the Website Care Basic and Plus plans, for business clients.
1. About these terms
1.1 These terms are between Brightmore Group Ltd ("we", "us"), registered in England and Wales, company number 17530117, registered office 8 Acres Brook Drive, Hollingworth, SK14 8BF, and the business buying our services ("you").
1.2 These terms apply when you accept a quote, sign our order form, or pay an invoice from us. They apply to business customers only.
1.3 Definitions:
- Website: the website we design and build for you.
- Domain: your web address (for example yourbusiness.co.uk), which you buy and own.
- Care plan: Website Care Basic or Website Care Plus, our monthly or yearly website support plans.
- Small change: an update to existing content that takes up to 30 minutes, such as changing text, prices, opening hours, contact details or photos, or adding or removing a team member or testimonial.
- Working day: Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays.
2. The £199 website build
2.1 Who it's for. The £199 limited-time offer is for businesses that want a website to advertise their services. It does not include online shops, taking payments, booking systems, customer logins or selling products through the website.
2.2 What's included:
- Up to 5 pages (for example Home, Services, About, FAQ and Contact)
- A design that works on phones, tablets and computers
- A contact form that sends enquiries to your email address
- Connecting your domain, with a security certificate (the padlock, HTTPS)
- Page titles and descriptions so search engines can find you
- 2 rounds of changes before the website goes live
2.3 What you provide. You supply your business details, text and photos, or approve the wording we write with you. You confirm you have the right to use everything you give us, and that it is accurate and lawful.
2.4 Your domain. You buy your domain in your own name, from a provider of your choice, and pay its yearly renewal. We connect it to your website once the invoice is paid.
2.5 Price and payment. The website costs £199. We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is added. You pay a 25% deposit (£49.75) before we start and the remaining 75% (£149.25) before the website goes live. The offer price applies to orders accepted while the offer is running.
2.6 Preview and go-live. We share a private preview link for you to review. Once you approve it and the invoice is paid, we connect your domain and the website goes live.
2.7 Handover and ownership. Once paid in full, the website is yours. We transfer it to a hosting account in your name. You are responsible for that account and its login details. If you don't take a care plan, future changes are charged separately.
2.8 Delays. If we are waiting on content, approval or payment from you for more than 30 days, we may close the project. Any deposit paid covers the work already done.
3. Optional extras
3.1 You can add these to any website. They are one-off prices, paid with the website invoice unless agreed otherwise.
- Extra page – £49 per page: one additional page beyond the 5 included, such as a gallery or a second service.
- Google Business Profile setup – £49 one-off (free with Website Care Plus, see 5.4): setting up and completing your profile, including description, services, hours, photos and website link.
- Business email setup – £99 one-off: professional email on your own domain using Microsoft 365. Microsoft licences are billed separately by Microsoft or by us at cost.
3.2 Anything not listed here or in section 2 (for example new features, redesigns or online shops) is quoted separately before we start.
4. Website Care plans
4.1 Care plans are optional, ongoing support for your website after it goes live.
| Website Care Basic | Website Care Plus | |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly price | £15.99 per month | £25.99 per month |
| Yearly price (paid upfront) | £150 per year | £250 per year |
| Small changes | Up to 2 per month | Unlimited small changes |
| Contact form check | Once a month | Once a month |
| Domain renewal reminders | Not included | Included |
| Google Business Profile | Not included | Setup free (see 5.4) and profile updates included |
| One-to-one help | By email or WhatsApp | By email or WhatsApp |
4.2 Small changes. Each change must be a small change as defined in 1.3. Larger work is quoted separately before we start. This includes new pages (£49 each), new sections or features, redesigns, rewriting large amounts of text, and work on other systems.
4.3 Fair use on Care Plus. Unlimited small changes are for the normal running of your business. If requests regularly go beyond this, for example many changes every week or changes that together amount to a redesign, we will talk to you and may quote the work separately.
4.4 Changes don't roll over. Unused changes on Website Care Basic do not carry over to the next month.
4.5 How to request a change. Email info@brightmoregroup.co.uk or message us on WhatsApp. We make changes according to their size and urgency.
4.6 Payment. Monthly plans are paid monthly in advance. Yearly plans are paid upfront for 12 months. Prices may change with at least 30 days' written notice; a yearly plan keeps its price until it renews.
4.7 Cancelling. You can cancel a monthly plan at any time with 30 days' notice by email. A yearly plan runs for its 12 months and is not refunded for unused months if cancelled early. It does not renew unless you agree to renew it.
4.8 Access. To provide a care plan, you give us access to your website's hosting account and, where relevant, your Google Business Profile. You can remove our access at any time, which ends the care plan.
4.9 What a care plan does not cover. Problems caused by changes made by you or someone else, your domain expiring, or outages at third-party providers (see section 6). We will still help you put things right where we can.
5. Google Business Profile
5.1 You own your profile. Your Google Business Profile belongs to your business and is owned by a Google account you control. We are added as a Manager so we can do the work. We will never be the only owner.
5.2 If we create it for you. Where we set up the profile on your behalf, we add you as an owner, transfer primary ownership to you as soon as Google allows (usually after 7 days), and then keep Manager access only.
5.3 Verification. Google decides how a profile is verified, often by a short video of your business. You agree to complete verification yourself where Google requires it. We can't guarantee when or whether Google verifies a profile, or how it ranks in search results.
5.4 Free setup with Website Care Plus. Google Business Profile setup (normally £49) is free when you take Website Care Plus. If you cancel Website Care Plus within the first 3 months, we may charge the £49 setup fee.
5.5 Profile updates. On Website Care Plus we update your profile on request, for example opening hours, photos, services and posts. Replying to reviews is done by you unless we agree otherwise.
5.6 Ending our access. When you leave a care plan, or at any time you ask, we remove our own access to your profile.
6. General terms
6.1 Third-party services. Your website relies on services run by other companies, such as hosting (Cloudflare), the contact form service (Web3Forms, with a free allowance of 250 enquiries a month) and your domain provider. We are not responsible for their outages, price changes or changes to their free allowances, but we will tell you if a change affects you and help you find a solution.
6.2 Data protection. Your website's contact form sends enquiries to your email address. You are responsible for how you use and store the details people send you, and for having a privacy notice on your website. Where we can access personal data while working on your website, we only use it to provide our services, keep it secure and don't share it, in line with UK data protection law.
6.3 Intellectual property. Once paid in full, you own your website's design and content. You give us permission to use the content you supply for building and maintaining your website. We may show your website in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
6.4 Liability. We will carry out our work with reasonable skill and care. Our total liability to you under these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost business or indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
6.5 Ending the agreement. Either of us can end these terms if the other seriously breaks them and doesn't put it right within 14 days of being asked in writing. We may pause work if an invoice is more than 14 days overdue.
6.6 Changes to these terms. We may update these terms. Changes apply to new orders and, for care plans, from the next payment after at least 30 days' notice.
6.7 Law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales deal with any disputes.
